Statement from Jeff Long Regarding Coaching Search

     FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The following is a statement from Athletic Director designee Jeff Long regarding the search for a head football coach.

“The search for a head football coach at the University of Arkansas is ongoing. While I have been involved in detailed discussions with candidates, no formal offer has been extended and no agreement has been reached. I understand and appreciate the strong interest in the search by our supporters and fans. Our parameters for the search remain the same, finding the best head football coach for the University of Arkansas. We will continue to work expeditiously to that end and I’m confident that we will achieve our goal.”
