FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – University of Arkansas head men’s basketball coach Mike Anderson has a new home for his radio show, Mike’d Up, in 2013 as Sassy’s Red House has taken over hosting duties.

The weekly show which is a joint production of the University of Arkansas Athletic Department and Razorback Sports Properties debuts on Monday, December 3, at 7 p.m. at the North College Avenue location.  The live show is one hour long and gives fans an opportunity to learn more about the Razorback program with Anderson giving his thoughts on games and practice, interviews with student-athletes and even a question and answer period from the live audience.

“I had an opportunity to visit with Allen and Shawna Brumett recently and their enthusiasm about hosting Mike’d Up at Sassy’s excites me,” Anderson said. “I look forward to a packed house each and every week.”

The 12-show schedule begins on Dec. 3 and runs weekly with time off for the holiday season and the men’s basketball travel schedule.  Subsequent dates include Dec. 10, 17; Jan. 7, 14, 21, 28; Feb. 4, 11, 18, 25; and March 11.

Mike’d Up will be carried on 49 affiliates across the Razorback Sports Network from IMG College, covering all areas of the state.

Anderson and the Razorbacks open the 2012-13 season on Friday, Nov. 9, when they welcome Sam Houston State to Bud Walton Arena at 7 p.m.
