FAYETTEVILLE - The University of Arkansas football team practiced inside Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium on Thursday in preparation for its game on Saturday at SEC East foe South Carolina.

Head coach John L. Smith spoke with the media after practice and discussed how practice went this week.

"It has been a good week of practice," Coach Smith said. "I really liked our offense and the way they prepared. Overall, it has been a good week, so we just have to keep working on it mentally from here on out and go down there and play as hard as we can and we will be alright."

Coach Smith also commented on what the team will have to do to get a victory on the road at South Carolina.

"We need to go on the road mentally focused," Coach Smith said. "Tomorrow morning when we get up we have to continue to get better. Stay focused and get better mentally. The physical part at this point is over. We just have to go to the field and take care of that."

Kickoff for the South Carolina game is set for 11 a.m. and will be televised on CBS.
