SEBRING, Fla. – University of Arkansas women’s golfers Olivia Lavy and Emily Podzielinski continued solid play in third-round action at the Harder Hall Women’s Golf Invitational in Sebring, Fla., Wednesday.
Lavy, a Fayetteville, Ark., native, was tied for eighth after the first round shooting a 75. she struggled with an 81 in the second round but rebounded with a 75 Friday and is in the clubhouse with a 231 and a tie for 18.
Podzielinski opened with an 82 followed by an 83 and moved into "second flight" action. The Nobelsville, Ind., native carded a 78 Friday for a 243 and is tied for third in her flight.
The event is open to amateur players and is divided into two divisions. Play features 54 holes of stroke play Wednesday through Friday with players divided into flights after the first two days of play.
