OUTLOOK: Crowell is a talented athlete that has flexibility for a player his size.

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER: He attended Hargrave following high school and moved from defensive tackle to offensive guard after two games. He helped Coach Robert Prunty’s squad go 7-3 in 2006. Rivals ranked him a four-star prospect and the No. 16 prep school player in the nation. As a prep senior for Coach Shelton Crews at Godby High, Scout listed him as the No. 71 defensive tackle in the country. He originally signed with Louisville out of high school before attending Hargrave. He signed with the Hogs after also considering Miami (Fla.), Florida State, Troy and Louisville.
PERSONAL: Born April 6, 1988, he is the son of Para Davis. He is enrolled in the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences.
