OUTLOOK: The departure of Chris Balseiro has opened the competition at placekicker. He will throw his hat into the ring for placement duties on extra points and field goals. He was two-of-three on field goal attempts from 40 yards in the Razorbacks’ second major spring scrimmage. While the competition remains open, he will have to battle stiff competition from a host of other candidates including Jeremy Davis and Stephen Arnold for the job.

2005: He used the campaign as a redshirt season.

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER: He lettered as a wingback, free safety and kicker under Coach Danny Mallett. He was a two-time all-conference performer (2003-2004) and was the team MVP in 2004. In addition, he was also the White County Defensive Player of the Year in 2004. He tallied back-to-back 100-tackle seasons in 2003 and 2004.

PERSONAL: Born Oct. 9, 1986, he is the son of Jay and Jane Ann Moore. A member of the National Honor Society, he is enrolled in the Sam M. Walton College of Business and is majoring in pre-business. Moore was a member of the 2005-06 Lon Farrell Academic Honor Roll.
