A series win for India, still Virat Kohli is not happy with the opening

Though the Indian team has played tremendously well, resulting in a win over England, captain Virat Kohli is disappointed with the opening. Although with a traffic batting partnership between Yuvraj Singh and MS Dhoni for 6th Wicket for India created a tough competition for the visitors, still Kohli is slightly worried about the openings.

In a recent press conference, the Indian captain appreciated both the senior players for their marvellous innings. Kohli also praised the spin attack of the Indian team which includes Ashwin and Jadeja, as their spell helps the team gaining a victory. While the Indian team made a pertinent score of 382 to chase, it was not a cake walk for the host to gain victory, as England accustomed a tough fight back setting the score 366 for 8, losing the game by just 15 runs.

As per Kohli, the team had put 75% effort as rest of the effortless approach has come from the opening. Also, the opening pair of Indian team fails to give a good start in the first match. He also added that winning the series before the champions trophy will be providing a huge plus point along with a high confidence level, but what matter is to get a fair opening. He has made it clear that in the coming days, he along with other board of selector will be working on the opening pairs so that the team will get a satisfying start for any innings.
