Although he was in th team, Trent Boult was given a [reference before him. It was only the last match that the player got a chance to play for the team. When asked about the win in his very first match in the IPL 2017, the bowler said that he was grateful for playing cricket all over again and also said that it is worth it to win in the very first match that he played for the team. The player was also named the man-of-the-match for his outstanding bowling of 3/22.

Talking about the Indian speedster in the team, Umesh Yadav, the player said that the bowler did not plan anything wrong, but it was the batsman who got away from them. It must be stated that Rishabh Pant had scored 26 runs off Umesh Yadav’s last over, before falling prey to Coulter-Nile in the next over.
