India and England are all set to play the final ODI match today, at the Eden Gardens. While, India has already sealed the cup win for themselves, after some of the most outstanding performances by the captain and his teammates, it will still not be an easy match for both the teams. While on one side, India would love to keep their win run going, under the captaincy of Virat Kohli, England will love to get back to form with a win in the final match. Now, it would be really interesting to see, if the home team can make it 3-0 or will the English team will have a sweet revenge on the home team in the last match of the series.
Virat Kohli and Team Seems Confident; The English Look Determinant
The final match of the series is scheduled at the Eden Gardens. After the renovation of the cricket ground last year, for the T-20 internationals, the groundsmen feel that the ground will now be able to break through its age-old label of a rank turner. These people who have helped to make the surface claim that the surface will be a good playing field for the batsmen as well as the bowlers. However, the pitch would not be much of a concern for the home team it seems. Given the form that the team has been, it seems unstoppable.
While on one side, India has got some of the most stunning all-rounders in the team, England too has been quite praiseworthy, with the batting that they have shown. It is also possible that both the teams might look out for a few changes in the playing 11. As opposed to Virat Kohli, who would love to check out a few more talents in his team and weigh his options, Eoin Morgan would be trying a new combination to try his luck in the final match of the tournament. England fast bowlers might finally get a saving grace in the series, as the Eden Gardens pitch seems to offer the pacers some help.
The match is scheduled to begin at 1:30 pm on the historic 150-years old ground of the Eden Gardens.
