Gautam Gambhir Calls His Teammate The Hardest Hitter In International Cricket


After having returned from an Injury, Chris Lynn in the last match went on to play an outstanding inning against the Royal Challengers Bangalore. Chris Lynn has been in form from the time he has joined the KKR squad. Although it was Sunil Narine, who stole the show for the Kolkata Knight Riders in a match against the Royal Challengers Bangalore, but Lynn Surely played an outstanding knock.

Talking about the player, the captain of the team, Gautam Gambhir said that he feels that Lynn is the hardest hitter of the ball in international cricket at the moment. He also said that the player today showed his mental toughness and how much he backs his game, as the opener for the KKR team went on to score another half-century in the IPL 2017.

When Gambhir was asked about the partnership that the two batsmen, Lynn and Narine had among them, he seemed overjoyed. The skipper said that the partnership of the two power hitters was the best that he has seen in his entire career. He also applauded the team management for deciding to let Sunil go on top of the order. Gambhir stated that it was the decision of the team management who decided to send the West Indian top the order and not at 8th or 9th position so that he can get along and hit the ball hard and face as many balls as he can.

The performance of the two players at the top of the order helped Kolkata pile up 105 runs in just 6 overs while facing a modest score of 158 by the Royal Challengers Bangalore. Kolkata went on to win the match quite comfortably against the RCB.
