Well, after the outcome of the game, Minerva, would be taking very little positive out of it, while the team from Kolkata has marked themselves at the top spot of the table. Having 13 points in 5 matches, it is just above Mohun Bagan, which is another well-known and popular club from Kolkata. Mohun Bagan is also having the same number of points from the same number of matches, but the East Bengal seals the top spot with a better goal difference.

On the other hand, the opponent of the match is now placed at the bottom of the table, with just 1 point from 5 matches. The team will next be facing Churchill Brothers.
