Kapil Dev introduced to the Legends Club Hall Of Fame

Kapil Dev, one of the best all-rounder of cricket, India had produced, was inducted into the hall of fame of legends club. The event was hosted with the presence of India’s former captains Nari Contractor, Ajit Wadekar and Sunil Gavaskar.

The honour was presented to the legend by Madhav Apte, the Legend’s club president, by giving him a citation during the event. Kapil told the press media about his bonding with the legendary Sunil Gavaskar, and also praised the batsman for his invaluable corporation towards him as well as for the nation. He had thanked him by giving him the opportunity to speak in the beginning as he lacked in poor English that time. Gavaskar was included in the said club on 11th of July 2013.

Kapil has shared some of his close moments as well as off personal life. As per him what he is today is because of his passion towards cricket, nor for the rewards. As per him, it is so proud to make people happy. Kapil has also enthralled the gathering through expressing his thoughts about the present day cricket, as it changed a lot as compared to the previous time.

The cricketer is known for captained India to achieve the historical remark of winning the 1983 World Cup, also the first bowler to archive the 400 wickets and scored more than 5,000 runs in test cricket. Sunil Gavaskar also praised Kapil by describing him as India’s greatest match winner along with his hard work and valuable contribution to India. Gavaskar, the first player to achieve 10,000 runs mark on Test, was also given a citation, as the legend was unable to attend the function on the scheduled date.
