Not All Members In The BCCI Seems to support its Stand On Lodha Committee Recommendations.

Not all members of BCCI seem to object to the Lodha Committee recommendations. Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA) who is a full member of BCCI accepted the Lodha Committee recommendations in totality. VCA took this decision at its special general meeting held on Friday. An overwhelming majority in the SGM supported the Lodha Committee recommendations. (727 out of 730 voted for Lodha committee recommendations).VCA also becomes the first full member of BBCI to accept the recommendations.

After the SGM VCA released a statement. The statement said that the main agenda SGM of VCA which was held at Bilimoria Hall was to discuss, consider and approve the proposed new constitution of VCA which is done in accordance with the Lodha Committee recommendations.

Yesterday BCCI was forced to adjourn its SGM to discuss the Lodha Committee recommendations on technical grounds. This adjournment caused BCCI to miss the first deadline set by the Lodha Committee. The adjournment was on the grounds that some of its associations’ authority letters were not proper.

BCCI has time till 6th of October to respond to the Lodha Committee status report in the apex court.
